I knew her from her book Live or Die, a collection of her poetry. In the 9th years after writing the poem Suicide Note, she successfully did it.

Ernest Miller Hemingway was an American writer and journalist.

When I was in high school or younger, I was always told that Hemingway was a strong man and that his short stories were symbols of American hard-boiled literature.

As soon as I started to read his works, I realized that this is a man who would kill himself finally. There’s no doubt that he was a strong man; he tried to clean this badly-lighted place for 61 years, and he failed eventually.

Shūji Tsushima (whose pen name is Osamu Dazai) was a Japanese novelist and writer.

He may be one of the most famous Japanese writers in my home country. I knew his name when I was reading Book Girl (a Japanese fiction by Mizuki Nomura), but I first read his works in 2022.
